Getting Free Ringtones For Your Iphone
July 21st, 2009 by ftsMobile ringtones are one of the most popular ways to customize you call phone. Many Mobile phones already have several different ringtones loaded when you purchase them but usually there copyright free and you can tell they cost the mobile company nothing. Some people are content to stick with this standard ring tone and never change it , but to be honest there is no need to stick with this boring ringtone there are many websites out there offering free ringtones. There are many types of ringtones to choose from
Monophonic ringtones: - Which play one note at a time (yes that why there called mono)
Polyphonic ringtones: - Play multiple notes and sound much more realistic than mono tones
MP3 Ringtones:- These are the most popular type of ringtones
True tone or MP3 ringtones are the most popular as there clips of actual audio (normally in MP3 format), there generally about 15 seconds long and carry the chorus of a song or the start if there a movie or TV theme. Most modern phones will also let you assign a different ringtone to a different caller, ideal if you want to avoid someone’s calls as you know without looking at the screen who is calling.
Pretty much any song you can think of is available as a ringtone these days, and in some cases you can get different parts of a song, free ringtones are available on the internet if you search hard enough, don’t be conned into paying for a subscription though, these tend to turn out very pricey and you may end up with ringtones which you don’t actually want. If you do find a tone you really like then buy it outright. You can also create your own ringtones by using music slicers and cutting down an existing music track you own. There are even internet sites out there that will extract audio from youtube videos and create you an MP3. So really there is no excuse, your cell phone goes everywhere with you so why not make it that bit more personal by adding a new ringtone or tones, in fact the choice is so great and if there free ringtones you could have a separate tone for every person in your address list.
In an age where technology often takes away our personal preferences its good to know that cell phones still allow us to add that touch of our own personality to a device which we use all day everyday, how many of you for instance could manage more than a few hours without your mobile, I know i couldn’t.
So my suggestion is never pay for a ringtone unless you really have to, try being creative and produce your own, you have the whole intenet at your disposal; it’s full of free tools and music you can use to create your own personal ringtone library. Ready made free ringtones are a plenty if you look hard enough (unfortunately most of the top 10 sites in Google advertise free ringtones but don’t deliver) try page 2 on Google and you will soon find sites brimming with free ringtones.
Good luck and enjoy
